AN aspirant of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Mal. Muhammad Dirisu Isah has promised to provide effective representation to constituents.
Dirisu who is seeking the opposition party’s ticket for Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency race in 2019 gave the assurance while addressing newsmen during the Weekend in Nasarawa.
He notes with dismay the present socioeconomic realities, assuring of a new direction in legislation that would promote the common good.
The aspirant however called for the support of all and sundry, adding that all hands must be on deck to have a leadership that would improve their livelihood.
“We must fight tirelessly to strengthen our democratic norms in the interest of every Nigerian.”

“I don’t have billions, or godfather. But my determination is to give the people of Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency the good leadership they deserve.
“Having being mentored over the years by my political mentor, Senator Saidu Mohammed Dansadau, a man of wisdom and integrity i have what it take to rescue my people from poverty and bad leadership. This is our generation and the time for a new Nigeria is now”, Mal. Dirisu said.
He further urged political aspirants to desist from making unguarded utterances, character assassination and focus on issues-based campaign, selling their ideas to voters to asses and vote accordingly.
Dirisu declared himself as the best man for the job, saying that his selfless service is evident to all.
Nigerian youth were also urged to resist been used as tools of political violence and other vices.
A youth leader from one of the communities in the Constituent, Danlami Auta who spoke to n-Mirror described Dirisu as a gift, assuring him of unwavering support.
The Constituency since birthed of democracy in 1999 has had two(2) persons as its representatives with the current Hon. Muh’d Ja’afar who is vying for governorship making three(3).
If elected Dirisu promised to bring his wealth of ideas and experience to bear, initiating bills and moving motions that would address the myriad issues confronting the Constituency.
